The End of the BeMW project – You Will Be Able to Do More!
On November 29, 2024, took place the conference and the ceremonial ending of the Erasmus+ BeMW project – Be More Wise, whose originator was Professor Izabela Zając-Gawlak, currently Vice-Rector for Students and Teaching.
The event began with an official opening by His Magnificence Rector Andrzej Małecki. Then, the Vice-Rector summed up the last year, which was full of juggling, research and smiles among seniors. There was also the premiere of the handbook „Exercise and maintain balance and you will be able to do more. BE MORE WISE”.
The ending was graced with lectures by PhD Katarzyna Nierwińska, who presented the topic "The impact of physical effort on the nervous system", and PhD Jacek Polechoński, who presented "Do you want to be able to do more? Use virtual reality technology".
The culmination of the event was a juggling workshop, where senior leaders from the 12-week training program included in the project led classes for all those present.
The closing ceremony and workshops of the BeMW project were also attended by Czech senior leaders, who, under the supervision of their trainer Mgr. Beata Barbořík Brošová, and the project manager on the Czech side of UPOL, doc. RNDr. Miroslava Přidalová, Ph.D.
